Applies to the selected feature.
Assigns a Shared Style or Shared Style Map to the selected feature. A style map is typically used to provide separate normal and highlighted styles for a Placemark, so that the highlighted version appears when the user mouse hovers over the icon.
Clears the
shared style (styleUrl) for the selected feature. This does not affect the
shared styles and shared style maps lists.
If the selected feature is a Document or Folder (Container) and you apply a shared style to it, you can right-click the Container then select Propagate Style Url to Descendants... to propagate the style to all or to some descendants. Note that this never applies to descendant Documents as they may contain shared styles of their own.
